"Faux" room collection

On the 18th of April 2018, Hotel The Exchange officially opened its new room collection, designed by MAISON the FAUX and focusing on parallel clichés within the fashion industry and the hotel business.

  • Room 101 - The Advertising | Room 105 - The Fashion Consumer | Room 303 - The Model

  • Room 317 - The Catwalk | Room 504 - The Changing Room | Room 701 - Luxury Shopping

"Volatile luxury, a momentum, a rich experience, clichés, a space where you can shamelessly be yourself. For MAISON the FAUX, fashion is a means of expression, not an end goal that can be applied to anything."

Following the success of Lloyd Hotel & Cultural Embassy, Suzanne Oxenaar and Otto Nan initiated Hotel The Exchange in 2011. The hotel is part of the ‘Red Carpet’ project started by the Amsterdam government to thoroughly redevelop the Damrak. Hotel The Exchange curates students from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI) to dress the hotel rooms as if they are models, which results in 61 unique room designs.

All six unique rooms are now available for booking HERE.
