CRADLE NIP GO
MAISON the FAUX aims to create work that finds the perfect synergy between many creative arts; creating shows, plays, experiences, collections, spaces and much more, that invite audiences to be a part of the MAISON the FAUX universe.
MAISON the FAUX explored this new trajectory through experience, interaction and performativity within the RAW trajectory of NITE, to create “CRADLE NIP GO”, which dived deep into melted mythologies, researching and exploring the concept of sacrifices. Together with Dorian Wood, Arno Verbruggen and Martha Gardner, MAISON the FAUX worked full time in Groningen for nearly two months, for the creation of their latest artistic performance. They collaborated with designer Esmay Wagemans for their prop and set design, and invited Dorian Wood to create the musical composition, while also being part of the performance. Together with dancer and creator Tatiana Matveeva, the choreography was formed.
RAW is an innovative talent development trajectory by NITE (Noord Nederlands Toneel + Club Guy and Roni), in which talented makers are guided to develop their artistry through research and experiment. Creators are encouraged to take risks, push boundaries, and explore different parts of their creative potential.
The performance CRADLE NIP GO was presented at the Machine fabriek in Groningen and House of CT in Amsterdam in June 2022.
